David Lowther, MD - Founder and President

Southeastern Radiotherapy was founded by Dr. David Lowther with the intent to bring a more determined focus on patient care to the oncology patients in the Atlanta market.  This drive prompted his relocation from California where he worked for 6 years with the nation’s leading authorities on prostate cancer.  In recognizing the need to update the community with techniques well-established and proven in other parts of the country, Dr. Lowther sought to assist the patients of this large metropolitan area in maximizing their chances for cure.  And while technology and experience was certainly an important component of this change, it became apparent quickly that the field also required a cast of medical professionals who put patient interests ahead of private interests.

The result of this effort is a staff comprised only of those that have received the accolades of their peers and passed the rigorous test of patient scrutiny.
